About Us
SignaLife is a healthcare technology startup at the intersection of physics, signal processing, and AI. We are developing breakthrough technology for continuous, non-invasive monitoring of critical blood gas parameters (including pH, CO₂, bicarbonate, and lactate), replacing invasive blood sampling with real-time physiological insights.
Today, these measurements are sporadic and require invasive arterial blood draws or repeated heel pricks in newborns, causing pain, infection risk, blood loss, and significant burden on clinical staff. Our technology is currently being evaluated in clinical trials in both NICU and ICU settings, with early promising results.
About the Role
We are looking for a superstar data scientist with a strong understanding of physics to lead our entire research efforts spanning signal processing, physics-based modeling, and machine learning. As our Head of Research, you will define the scientific and algorithmic roadmap, design and develop our core algorithms, and work closely with our clinical team to translate cutting-edge research into a robust medical product.
This is a strategic role with significant ownership and a rare opportunity to shape the technology at the heart of a company tackling one of the most challenging problems in medical sensing.
